Attention: Health Minister
I am unhappy with the restrictive NSW industrial relations legislation that limits doctors-in-training (interns, residents and registrars) to joining the HSU or no union at all.
The limitations imposed by NSW law are antiquated and give doctors no choice if they feel their union is not doing a good enough job on their behalf.
Doctors-in-training should have the ability to join a union of their choice to ensure that their workplace rights are protected and that they get the best industrial representation possible.
I sign this petition in support of doctors-in-training having the right to choose which union they belong to.
